Pilar's Catering Policy & Procedures

1. A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is required upon booking a function.20% of the estimated total cost is to be paid 6 months prior to the event in the form of a cheque, charge or cash with an additional 30% due 1 month prior and final payment due 1 week prior to the date of the function by cash or certified cheque including any adjustments or additional charges.

2. All food and beverage services are subject to 6% GST, 8% PST and a 15% gratuity.

3. Confirmed number of guests must be given no less the 2 weeks prior to function. Youwill be charged for this number if fewer dinners are served.

4. Please advise of any special dietary restrictions or food allergies.

5. Bartenders can be hired at $15.00/hour/bartender.

6. Our staff are at your full disposal the day of your event to make sure everything runs smoothly from set up to tear down. There will be a co-coordinator on hand for the entire function to make sure any questions or concerns can be addressed immediately.

7. If, during the course of your event, should you require unexpected facilities clean-up (i.e. restrooms being rendered unusable due to guest carelessness) we will be on hand to help for an additional fee of $25.00 per instance.

8. We understand that over the course of the evening that our linens are bound to get dirty we ask that if you are using candles as centerpieces you make sure that they are dripless and should the linens be permanently damaged you will be charged for their replacement.

9. While we try to be as helpful as possible, our first priority is giving you great food and service and we wish to remind you that we are not there to co-ordinate the whole function but we will gladly offer our advice and experience should you ask.

10. We ask that you have all your tables placed on the floor with the correct number of chairs placed around them and the tables numbered, if you require us to do this there is a charge of $100.00.
